Privacy Policy

BattleWise collects only what it needs to run the product, manage subscriptions, and respond to support. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us with questions or requests.
Account information. When you sign in with Google, BattleWise receives your email address and display name. These are used to identify your account and link it to any BattleWise Plus subscription.
Billing information. If you subscribe to BattleWise Plus, Stripe processes your payment. BattleWise stores only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your card number or payment details.
Browser-stored data. Daily usage counts, workspace history, and session state are stored in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to BattleWise servers.
Support communications. If you contact support, the content of that exchange may be retained to resolve your request and improve the product.
BattleWise uses the information above to authenticate your account, manage your BattleWise Plus subscription, enforce fair usage limits that keep the service available for everyone, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Google. BattleWise uses Google OAuth for sign-in. Google processes the authentication and shares your email and display name with us. Google's own privacy policy governs how Google handles your data during that process.
Stripe. Payment processing for BattleWise Plus is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your payment information directly. BattleWise receives only your subscription status and a customer identifier — not your card details.
Anthropic. Build recommendations, team suggestions, and optimization outputs are generated using Anthropic's Claude API. The Pokémon names and strategy inputs you submit are sent to Anthropic to produce results. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how that data is handled on their end.
BattleWise uses your browser's local storage to save workspace history, usage counts, and session context. This data is stored entirely on your device. Clearing your browser's storage will remove it. No local storage data is sent to BattleWise servers unless you explicitly share its contents.
BattleWise is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created a BattleWise account, please contact us at support@battlewise.app and we will promptly remove the account and associated data.
Account and subscription data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support. Billing records may be retained as required by applicable law or by Stripe's own retention policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of BattleWise after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
